Attendance at the Lincolnshire Parliamentary Dinner held at the House of Commons, London, hosted by Rt Hon John Hayes MP (Cabinet Office Minister and Con, South Holland and the Deepings) with Sir Edward Leigh MP (Con, Gainsborough) and Nick Bowles MP (Parliamentary Under Secretary for Planning and Con, Grantham & Stamford) also present. The dinner was attended by Lincolnshire FE Principals along with senior AoC and EMFEC (East Midlands Further Education Colleges) executives. This was an opportunity for MPs and senior FE colleagues to discuss educational issues pertinent to Lincolnshire including careers advice (access, accountability and investment), the future of apprenticeships, and the Greater Lincolnshire LEP (EU structural and investment funds [ESIF] 2014-16, Single Local Growth Fund, skills and apprenticeships) amongst other subjects.
